PROLOGUE dist: 19km, climb: 650m
The fires that ravaged the slopes of Table Mountain last night have the following impact for the race:
1. Registration and all ‘non-riding’ pre-event functions will continue to take place at the same venues and at the same times as previously communicated.
2. The first prologue course practice session that was scheduled for Thursday 19/03 from 12h00 – 16h00 is cancelled.
3. Our team is in constant communication with the City of Cape Town’s disaster management and fire safety teams to assess whether it is safe for Friday’s prologue course practice session and Saturday’s prologue to continue as planned.
